Billing Lead - Home Based  (12 months Maternity cover)

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of sales ledger invoices. The Billing Lead will manage a team of seven colleagues, ensuring that any invoicing issues are resolved. This is a complex role within the Accounts Receivable team and will involve significant use of Oracle Fusion software, raising in excess of £20m of invoices monthly. The successful post holder will be able to demonstrate that they live Dimensions core values and that they put the customer at the forefront of all they do.

About the role 

Your main duties will include: 

  • Manage a team of seven colleagues to produce invoices in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the billing team.
  • Prepare, generate and distribute invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Ensure all sales invoices are raised as per the invoice instructions and in the correct financial period.

About you

The successful applicant will have: 

  • The successful candidate should be AAT or similar qualification of QBE
  • Experience in a similar role within Finance
  • Proficient in using accounting software, demonstrating the ability to manage invoices and customer accounts.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
