Who will I be supporting?
We have a outgoing lady in her 30s who loves shopping, spending time with friends and family and especially loves animals (owning 2 guinea pigs and a visiting dog)
She has a learning disability, a hearing impairment and you will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress – full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is preferred.
A positive & patient support worker with an upbeat can-do attitude would be a wonderful match.
What will I be doing?
She would like support to live her life how she chooses and to achieve her goals.
You’ll be involved in helping to increase their independent living skills, especially when getting involved around home.
You will be supporting with only prompting around personal care, food preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning and laundry.
Shift Patterns:
Long Day Sleep-In Shift: 8am – 8am the following day (includes sleep-in shift)
Sleep-In Shift: 10pm – 8am (£45 per shift)
We are looking for full flexibility across all shift patterns.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
