Part Time Role - 18 hours per week

Are you passionate about promoting independence and supporting people? Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are accredited by the Great Places To Work programme in 2023 – now 5 years in a row!

We are looking to recruit a compassionate, courageous and ambitious Female Support Worker who boasts integrity, champions respect and has a genuine interest in - and a passion for - supporting others. No two days will be the same and each new shift will present you with inspiring opportunities to help you grow both professionally and personally whilst having a positive impact on the lives of those you support and their families.

We support individuals in their early 20's in their first independent accommodation since moving from their parent's house. They are very independent - liking to go out a lot and make their own choices on what they would like to do for the day. You will support them with their daily life skills - prompting their personal care as they are able to complete this on their own, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry. There is no manual handling support required for this role. We want the people we support to live fulfilling, ordinary lives. This means having healthy relationships, a healthy lifestyle and living increasingly independently.

Shifts are short in length (some being 6 hours so you would be working approximately 3 shifts per week). Shift pattern to be discussed at interview. We review and shortlist applications on receipt and interviews will be held until the posts are filled.

Do you share our values?
Ambition - helping people to be the best they can be
Courage – being brave enough to make a difference
Integrity – being honest and fair in all the things we do
Partnership – working with other people to make a bigger difference
Respect – treating everyone fairly and knowing that everyone’s voice is important

If the answer is YES, we would love you to come and join us in supporting people. We will provide you with full induction and fully paid training when you join us. In addition to regular 1-2-1s and annual appraisals, we will help you develop and progress your career. Worried about monthly pay? We got it covered - we offer a salary advance scheme where you can access up to 50% of the money you've earned before payday.
