Resourcing Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Assistant to join our busy internal recruitment team due to the team expanding.

About the role

You will play a central support role to the Resourcing Coordinator's by being the first point of contact within the team, supporting hiring managers and candidates with on-boarding activity and queries, as well as general administration. Your main duties will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails, handling all queries in a pro-active, customer focused way dealing with simple queries or passing calls to relevant Coordinators
  • Managing the resourcing email inbox and distributing items to the relevant Coordinators
  • Supporting Coordinators with candidate on-boarding, helping to obtain pre-employment checks such as references, ID documentation, application forms etc,
  • General administration such as uploading documents to candidate management system
  • General house-keeping duties of the candidate database
  • Ad-hoc support with reports and other administrative support

About you

The successful applicant will have:

  • Grade C or above at GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • A HR or recruitment related subject taken at college or university would be a distinct advantage
  • Previous office or telephone based experience
  • Any previous exposure to recruitment or HR duties would be an advantage
  • Highly organised and efficient working style, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with exceptional attention to detail
  • A desire to build a career in internal recruitment or HR field
