We are looking for a reliable and caring person to support a young and active gentleman with learning disabilities in the Kinson area. This gentleman loves being out and about and thrives when he is in busy area's such as walking along a main road or travelling on a bus. He enjoys many activities such as trampolining, swimming and one of his favourite activities is going for a drive in his car.
It is also really important for this gentleman to be supported to meet his basic needs, such as support with personal care, meal preparation and general household tasks. He can walk but due to his limited eyesight he can be unsteady on his feet so he uses a wheelchair when out in the community.
This gentleman is a very kind and loving individual whose smile and laughter will light up a room.
We're looking for a dedicated support worker to cover various shifts from full time, part time and relief to suit you. We offer fantastic benefits, training and a great team environment.
We are looking for people who share our values and can support this gentleman to have the life he wants to live.
His families and friends play a big part in his life so we also require support with maintaining these relationships.
