Dimensions are currently recruiting to one of our services in Kidderminster and we are looking for people who share our values and can support someone to have the life they want to live.
Whether you have worked in healthcare, mental health, autism, with challenging behaviour or maybe you have a background in retail, cleaning and coaching, this could be the career for you. Dimensions recruit against values and not previous experience. Full training will be provided.
As a valued support worker, you’ll be helping people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. We are looking for ambitious individuals of a caring nature to work for an award winning company where we promote independence in a supportive environment.
The 5 gentlemen we support are looking for someone with a positive outlook on life, who are organised and willing to support them with all aspects of their life from support with personal care, health needs, complex epilepsy, eating and drinking and activities of their choosing. Some of the gentlemen have access to a vehicle to attend activities, shopping and health appointments, but if you are willing to use your own vehicle we pay mileage to cover your costs. The gentlemen access a range of activities from cookery, Go Ape, sailing/canoeing, farm, walking, arts & crafts, music and trains to mention just a few..... so if you are able to organise and plan activities as a team or individually we'd love to hear from you.
Family and friends play a big part in their lives so support will also be required with maintaining these relationships.
For more information about the service and people we support, please contact James Seabright on 07876597939 or please click apply at the bottom to submit a short application.
We believe anyone has the potential be a great support worker, no matter your background, as long as you share our values; respect, partnership, courage, ambition and integrity – that’s why we recruit based on values and not skills or experience.
