Are you a dynamic, innovative, and professional support worker looking for a new start working with some amazing people who need support in their own homes? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

-------------------------------------------------------

About the people we support:

We support 4 active gentleman who enjoy a variety of activities and interests.

You would be working between an established service with 3 gentleman and once trained would also be working with a gentleman who has recently moved into his own property.

All have their own cars so a driver is essential to provide the people we support access to local and further afield areas. Trips would involve seeing family, cinema visits, swimming, going to the seaside, shopping and attending medical appointments, outings for meals and pub visits and many more.

The gentleman we support have a learning disability, autism and behaviours of distress and we’re looking for confident, highly motivated support workers to assist all to live independently and live life to the fullest.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress – full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.

What will I be doing?

You will be supporting them to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their goals, building skills and maintaining independence.
As well as supporting them to get involved in all the activities they enjoy, you’ll also be providing support with their personal care, medication, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry

Shifts Patterns:

There are a variety of day shifts, some with with sleep shifts, varying between 8-14 hours.
