We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers in Luton. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing person-centred support to six individuals with learning disability, autism and mental health conditions, helping them to lead independent and fulfilling lives within their communities. It can be a rewarding and meaningful career path for those who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing practical and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Supporting individuals to access community resources, participate in social activities, and pursue their interests and hobbies.
  • Implementing individualised support plans and promoting independence and choice.
  • Building positive relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals involved in their support.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we support at all times.

Requirements:

  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • A non-judgmental attitude and a commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving license and the ability to travel locally to Luton and the surrounding areas.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.
