Sheffield S8
You will support a gentleman in his 60-ties who lives in his own flat and 24 hour support including a waking night, Paul can become distressed at times with being at home as one of the triggers and requires someone who is patient and understanding and equally enjoys going out and about.
The person we support is very active and thoroughly enjoys going out, bowling, cinema, trams, bus’ trains. Paul uses minimal words to communicate however he knows what he wants and what he enjoys.
Shift Pattern
We provide 24hr support so shifts will include sleep ins and you will be required to do a minimum of 1 a week.
Shift patterns are:Long Day 7am - 9pm; this can be plit into half day shifts - 7am - 2pm & 2pm - 9pm.
The person we support does display behaviours of distress so it is beneficial that you have experience in this area in order to support her confidently and safely. You will receive person specific behaviour support training and intervention training. We are looking for outgoing and confident support worker to support a person with behaviours of distress.

These three ladies share their home
**Mary** Is a Yorkshire lady through and through with a thick Yorkshire accent which she is proud of! She loves nothing more than a good musical or joining in on a good karaoke session. She loves going out to day centres, for food and drink and some days she likes to be at home with her support worker to sit and have a good old natter!
**Claudia** has a slap stick, naughty sense of humour, loves being out and about in the community, going for food, to clubs etc. She does not use words to communicate and will communicate through noises and sounds and physical touch. Claudia likes sensory stimulation and is needing someone who is calm and patient with her
**Amina** is very passionate about her faith and loves wearing traditional dress, especially around celebrations, the more glitter and bangles the better! and loves to try traditional foods within her faith. She enjoys going out for nice foods and has a love of spicy foods.
Shift Pattern
Long Day - 7am - 9pm
Early - 7am - 2:30pm
Late - 2:30pm - 9pm
Sheffield, S2
You will be supporting to twin males in their 50's who live together in one home. We provide support on 24 hour basis including sleep in shifts. They love to go for a good walk, films, horse racing, football, snooker - watching. ; TV game shows.
Shift Pattern
10am - 10am, sleep from 10pm -7am.
