Assistant Locality Manager 
Cardiff - Pentwyn and Cyncoed 
Full time - 37.5 hours (7.5 off rota) 
Drivers licence essential

You will support the Locality Manager to ensure we provide a high quality service to the people we support.  You will undertake a variety of delegated management tasks to be performed during your off-rota time (7.5 hours) and will deputise for the Locality Manager during their absence.
You will work across 4 services within Pentwyn and Cyncoed where we support a variety of people with various disabilities aged within their 30s - 60s. They are great fun to support and you'll support and encourage them to do arts and crafts, gardening, going swimming, go shopping, and playing bingo is a must!! 
There is some manual handling and personal care support required, and you'll keep written records using IT systems to update support plans, incident logs and health and safety records.

About you

You already have proven professional qualities, including:

  • Experience of working with people with a wide range of needs, for example, autism and complex learning disabilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the personalisation agenda and active support provision
  • The willingness to work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management for Care Services
