If you share our values this is a superb opportunity to join us as an Assistant Locality Manager, providing day-to-day support to your Locality Manager, gaining expertise and experience both within the office and in our service. In Muswell Hill we are supporting seven people between the ages of 25 to 88 with profound learning disabilities.

The people we support have one to one support hours and enjoy using this time to do a lot of activities such as cooking, music therapy, swimming, music, films and arts and crafts. 

During your on shift hours, you would be assisting with all aspects of personal care (including bathing and toileting), medication and their daily living however we always attempt to carry out active support.

You already have proven professional qualities, including:

  • Quick decision-making strategies
  • Independent thinker
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfort or confidence with using various systems and I.T equipment
  • Confident in creating a written document

As an Assistant Locality Manager you can expect;

  • Ensure that rotas are inputted on the Dimensions Time Management System and always maintained, as far as reasonable and practicable, no less than four weeks in advance
  • Support the locality manager to monitor and manage the performance of individual team members, including their capability, sickness levels and compliance with mandatory training. 
  • Promote and maintain positive and productive relationships with family members, and wider circles of support, to foster an environment of partnership working in line with our Family Charter. 
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the people we support in line with Dimensions safeguarding policies, statutory requirements and local authority protocols. 
  • Ensure that the people we support are fully involved in all aspects of the planning of their support. This includes developing their support plans and reviewing how well the support they receive is working.
  • The willingness to work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management for Care Services.

Be prepared to work flexibly. This could include working some weekends and bank holidays. This will be discussed with you during the interview process,

The total annual pay for the role is currently £24605.68 made up of a basic salary of £22889 plus an additional 15% annual allowance for 15 hours off rota hours of 1716.68.
