About the role
Dimensions is looking for caring Support Workers in Bournemouth to support a fun, outgoing lady in her 40s in her own bungalow. She has her own vehicle and enjoys being out and about doing activities which is an important part of this role. Activities can include going to drama club, getting her nails done, encouraging her to get involved in a fitness class, bowling with friends and going to the cinema. We are looking for Support workers who can build on existing relationships with her family and friends as these are important to her, she loves meeting her dad for lunch in town!
The lady uses a wheelchair when out and slide sheets at the moment, however the needs of the lady may change in the future. When walking around her home she does need hand to hand support to make her more steady on her feet and she suffers with epilepsy. The lady requires full support with personal care. (Full training is provided).
Shift patterns will vary weekly and work around the people we support these can include 7am -2.30pm/9am - 2.30/2.30pm - 9pm and alternate weekends, Late shifts are lone working shifts she also has 2:1 hours regularly (to be discussed at interview).
