Female Support Worker

At Dimensions, we support three wonderful people with complex needs living in Llanrumney, and they're looking to welcome full or part-time, compassionate, upbeat, and uplifting female support workers into their home to help them live their best lives - the lives that they choose. So, if you'd like a life-changing job - a truly meaningful and personally fulfilling role where you can put your positive, warmhearted nature to use every day to help people achieve their dreams and make amazing memories -  then please apply to become our newest Female Support Worker, today!

About the Role

In Llanrumney, we provide fully-personalised support to two ladies and a gentlemen. So, as our newest female support worker, it'll be your responsibility to work courageously, respectfully and with integrity - and in partnership with your colleagues - to encourage and empower the people who welcome you into their home to lead richer, more gratifying lives.

Each person we support has high complex needs (for instance, some have cerebral palsy and epilepsy), so require full personal care, mobility assistance and meal prep support. Whilst each person has their own aspirations and hobbies, they all enjoy being physically active (in particular, they relish going swimming and doing yoga), as well as liking arts and crafts, touch therapy, and attending church.

As well as being actively and enthusiastically engaged in every aspect of their daily lives (including nights), you'll also be expected to safeguard the people we support - ensuring that they are always happy and comfortable, and that the environment they're in is safe and sanitary - as well as writing/maintaining records (i.e. risk assessments, financial reports and observations, etc.)

For further information about the people we support, our shifts, and for more details about the role, please contact Shah Amour on shah.amour@dimensions-uk.org

Please note; it is essential for this role that candidates have a full UK drivers license. Also, gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
