Would you like to be part of a close-knit team to support a young lady who is starting her journey living independently? Dimensions is seeking Female Support Workers to do just that in Bicton!

Working with a lady in her early twenties, who recently moved into her new home which is part of a learning disabilities community, you will empower this lady’s independence and ensure she lives life to the fullest in the ways that she wants to. This young lady would be keen to meet Female Support Workers who are going to enjoy getting involved with activities including:

  • Getting involved with her love of music.
  • Supporting her with the theatre group she attends
  • Helping her maintain her relationships with family as she starts out in her new home (family are very important to this lady).
  • Helping her to learn new life skills to make the most of independent living.
  • MUST LOVE DOGS – the lady we support has a pet dog that is extremely important to her

You will also support her with finances, meal preparation and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, food shopping, and laundry.
Full UK or EU driving license is preferable for this role but not essential; the lady we support has a Mobility Vehicle at her home which is integral to her support and in order to drive this for her, you would need to have a full UK or EU licence.
