Waking Night Support Worker Position Available (Female Only)

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
£11.69 per hour
Location: Luton, LU4

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Luton. In this full-time role, you will be providing essential overnight support to a gentleman with specific needs, ensuring his safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support as needed during the night.
  • Monitor and assist with medication administration.
  • Ensure the gentleman's safety and respond promptly to any emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of night-time activities and any incidents.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance his quality of life.
  • Assist with bedtime routines and morning preparations.


  • Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010).
  • Prior experience in a similar support role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain awake, alert, and responsive throughout the night.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and background checks.
