Working alongside another Female Support Worker, you will support lady in her 30’s, who has learning disabilities to lead a fulfilling independent life. The lady, who uses a wheelchair to mobilise, leads an active life. Things Female Support Workers will get involved with include:
- Swimming and Aquafit at 1610 in Dorchester
- Attending dance classes
- Trips out for coffee and people watching
- Listening to music
- Regular visits to see family
This lady would be happy with either full or part-time Female Support Workers. (Shifts run from 08.00-15.00 and 15.00-21.00). The pay rate is £12.52 per hour.
As this lady has her own vehicle, it is essential all Female Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Driving License for cars.
This lady does not use words to communicate. She can let you know what she wants using vocalisations, body language and eye contact. If you have not had to communicate in this way before, don’t worry as Dimensions provide full training to all Female Support Workers.
Female Support Workers will also support this lady by assisting with day-to-day tasks (which include – but are not limited to – finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
