Providing financial and business advice and support to the Regional Managing Director and the Regional Management Team. Ensuring that financial information is timely and accurate and that Regional Operational staff, follow the company’s procedures as set down in the Finance Manual and Corporate Policies documents. The post holder will also be expected to support the RMD and Regional Business Development Manager to achieve growth and ensure planned new business is viable.

About the role 

Your main duties will include: 

  • To develop a positive and productive working relationship with other key members of the Central Finance Team
  • Liaising with local authorities, ensuring relevant contract / other paperwork is in place.
  • To develop a positive and productive working relationship with other key members of the Regional Management Team: Performance Coach, HR Business Partner, Regional Business Development Manager.
  • Able to review Management accounts for completeness and posting relevant amendments.

About you

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Qualified – ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (or QBE)
  • Must be action and outcomes orientated, demonstrating the ability to plan, organise and manage to agreed timescales
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures and techniques
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how service budgets are constructed including: staffing establishments, voids provisions, and relief staff salary %.
