As a floating support worker you will support various people in their own homes in Maidenhead, usually 5 or 7 people throughout the week. The shifts can be quite varied based on what the people we support wish to do but it would be expected that shifts would end by 6pm at the latest. Some example shift times are 9am - 1pm, 8am - 2pm, 10am - 3pm and there are no night shifts required. We do work on a rota so there may be a very occasional weekend shift, though we would not anticipate this being more than once per month, the role is usually Monday - Friday. We are supporting people in their own homes in Maidenhead, prompting with cooking, cleaning, meal planning and general household upkeep. There is no personal care required in this role. The people we support are independent and like to go shopping, swimming, to the cinema, sports clubs, voluntary jobs and day trips to tourist attractions so each day as a floating support worker can be very different and lots of fun!

As this role covers multiple dwellings it is desired that candidates hold a full drivers licence, though this is not essential. (Dimensions will assist with the cost of travel between the homes of the people we support).
