We are looking for caring, compassionate, thoughtful people to join our SMILE Day Service team in Crawley in a lead support worker role. We support between 20-28 people daily with a variety of needs including learning disabilities, epilepsy, not able to communicate through speech, visual impairments, wheelchair use, PEG feeding and  personal care. The people we support have a wide variety of interests from arts & crafts to singing, reading to outdoor activities and days out using our own automatic vehicles. As a lead support worker you will assist with overseeing the operation of the service, dealing with issues as they arise and leading by example in all aspects of the job.

The day service is open Monday - Friday and we are looking for a full time lead support worker to fill our rota within the allocated shift times of 8:30am - 4:30pm.

A UK driving licence and willingness to drive a support vehicle is desired.
