Male Support Worker

Start your day knowing you’ll make a difference - we are looking for two male Support Workers to join our team in Cardiff and create a positive difference that will improve life for the people we support.

We are delighted to offer these two fantastic roles at Dimensions ,for male support workers to work alongside two young men, living in supported living accommodation in Cardiff.

Both men enjoy a varied and active lifestyle which includes, walking, trampolining, swimming, going to the gym etc. Through choice both men are empowered to live the lives they wish too when coupled with active support and positive role modelling. This then ensures that the support they receive from us, is truly person centred and the lives they lead; are as independent as possible.

The location is easily accessible and has parking available. A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is an essential requirement for these roles.

Supporting these two young men will be rewarding and offer unique opportunities for you to gain experience and to develop your skills. We recognise that this service is truly unique and so, in addition to the hourly rate of £7.83 p/hr, we offer an extra allowance, which brings the pay rate up to £8.43 p/hr. Working primarily at this service has the potential of earnings in the region of £20,236 per annum (subject to qualifying conditions for example, sleep in rates etc).
