Relief Support Workers are crucial members of the team that ensure consistent care across all services during busy periods and when permanent staff are unwell or on leave, and they really do make the world of difference – seeing a friendly and familiar face is so important to the people we support when permanent team members aren’t available.

*The base pay rate for a relief worker in South Tyneside is £9.50 per hour but you will accrue annual leave as you work, so it works out to be £10.64 per hour.
