Who will I be supporting?

  • You will be supporting a number of young men with learning disabilities and autism who live independently in their own homes across the Middlesbrough area
  • They have described their ideal Support Worker as someone who is funny, reliable and has a lot of banter. They want someone who can be one of the lads, can have a laugh and joke and can support them with activities, and be there for them like a mate

What will I be doing?

  • You will be supporting people to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their goals
  • This includes supporting with budgeting, paying bills, getting to work/finding work, going for a coffee, going to the gym, lunches out
  • You will also be providing emotional support and support to maintain and improve the mental health of the people you will be supporting

What shifts are available? 

  • Shifts are typically between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday 
  • Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance
