About the Role:
Are you an experienced support worker looking for a role where you can make a real impact every day? We’re searching for a male support worker to provide personalised support for a fun-loving gentleman in his 30s who lives in a quiet two-bedroom bungalow in Comberton. If you’re ready to bring your skills and heart to a job that truly matters, this could be the role for you.
Meet the Gentleman:
He’s a creative, welcoming individual who loves spending time outdoors, especially at his allotment where he enjoys tending to his plants. He also shares his home with his clever cat, Barney, who is always up to something! Family is incredibly important to him, especially his mum, who plays an active role in his life. You’ll work closely with her to ensure he receives the best support.
Your Role:
- Whether it’s gardening, spending time with Barney, or simply relaxing at home, you’ll support him in doing the things he loves most.
- Help him maintain dignity and comfort by assisting with all aspects of personal care.
- Use your experience to help him navigate his emotions, providing reassurance in a calm, understanding environment.
- You’ll administer medication, ensuring he stays on top of his health needs.
- Help him get around, whether it’s to the allotment or for outings. He occasionally uses a wheelchair, so you’ll be there to assist with mobility.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you’ll be supporting him on trips and daily activities.

- You’ll need to be adaptable to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and sleep-ins.
