Oracle Fusion Technical Specialist (Home Based)

Working within Dimensions IT Systems team, the Oracle Fusion Technical Specialist will serve as the technical authority on Oracle Fusion applications, working closely with the Oracle Admin, Finance Systems Manager, and Accounting Systems Officer in Finance.

The role involves managing the Oracle Fusion environment, including customization, configuration, integration, and optimisation of the system to support business processes and financial operations, as well as enabling the business reporting from the Fusion environment. The candidate will ensure the system's reliability, performance, and security, while also supporting end-users’ technical queries.

The role will support the strategy to develop the system overtime and be technical lead for projects such as introducing new modules and facilitating the adoption of new features and technologies.

Interviews will take place over Microsoft teams on the 1st & 2nd May.

About the role 

Your main duties will include: 

  • Act as the senior technical point of contact for all Oracle Fusion-related queries, issues, and projects.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Finance departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Oracle Fusion.
  • Customise and configure Oracle Fusion applications to meet business needs, including but not limited to Financials, Procurement, and Project Portfolio Management modules.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion and other business systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.

About you

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Have a significant track record working with Oracle Fusion applications, specifically in technical roles.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion data loading tools (File Based Data Import, HCM Data Loader and Application Development Framework desktop Integration) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC.
  • Expert in BI Publisher RTF Template based reporting including bursting and customising BI Publisher templates and data models
  • Good understanding of underlying tables in financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Project Portfolio management and Oracle Contracts
