The role of the Positive Interventions Lead is to provide, maintain and develop training in positive interventions to all trainers throughout the Dimensions Group and respond to referrals requiring specific interventions where appropriate.
The postholder will ensure that training requirements for the Dimensions Group are fulfilled by liaison with Operational and Learning & Development teams. They will provide expertise and advice in setting up and design and delivery of training in Positive Interventions by working alongside Regional Behaviour Support Managers, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Clinical Practitioners and Practice Development Coaches to develop outcomes, skills and knowledge within the support teams.The post-holder will also ensure that the training of regional teams remains focused on enhancing quality of life, promoting personal skill development for the people we support and reducing/eliminating the use of restrictive practices.
