Relief Support Worker

We're looking for Relief Support Worker to be able to cover shifts varying from 7am - 2:30pm, 2pm - 10pm, 9:15pm - 7:30 am (waking nights) or the late shift into a sleep in to 7:30am. As part of relief you can also be asked to work weekends and bank holidays. Depending on the service needs and hours, shift do vary along with being either one to one support or sometimes two to one support.
You'll support a range of people and across multiple services. With needs varying from needing help with everyday tasks; cooking, cleaning and maintaining their finances, going out in the community, shopping, Drs appointments, some like to swim, go for long walks or have their own pets.
Others services could need support from manual handling; pushing a wheelchair, using a hoist, challenging and / or complex behaviour to personal care; prompting them with what to do or helping them with washing, dressing, cleaning teeth etc. some also have medical needs that require help with administration of medication or for food to be prepared in a certain way.
Please be aware that some services can require for drivers and if needs be for you to use your own car.
We provide all training for the role both online and classroom based. To be on our relief team it is mandatory to be compliant with all training to pick up a shift.

The hourly rate is currently £7.83 but will be increasing to £8.21ph as of 1st April
