Who will I be supporting? 

  • 4 young adult men aged 35 and under  
  • They have mild to moderate learning disabilities and autism
  • They’re a fabulous group of young men to support – they have their individual interests but also lots of things they enjoy doing together
  • Some of their favourite activities include gaming, bowling, eating out, going on holidays, spending time with their families, going to the gym and going to the cinema
  • Some of their interests include cars, technology and SpongeBob Square Pants
  • No two days are the same, so if you like being busy, you will really enjoy being part of their support team!

What will I be doing? 

  • You will be supporting these individuals to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their goals
  • You will be supporting them with their personal care, medication, meal preparation, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry    

What shifts are available? 

  • 10am one day until 10am the following day with a sleep-in shift included
  • Various short and long days shifts
  • Waking nights
  • Evenings and weekends
  • We’re looking for people with good availability to pick up shifts on our rotas, which are provided 4 weeks in advance, and also to cover sickness and other types of leave that may occur at shorter notice – you will be offered a relief (zero hours) contract

What is the pay rate?

  • Your base pay rate of pay will be £10.24 per hour
  • As a relief worker, you will also accrue and annual leave entitlement of 12.07% for every hour you work, which brings your total hourly rate to £11.48 per hour
