Warrington
Are you looking for a career where you can make a real and meaningful difference to the lives of others, but you are not able to commit to a permanent role? Perhaps you’re considering a permanent role in the future but right now you need the flexibility to work around other commitments?
Relief work offers ultimate flexibility - with no obligation to accept shifts you can fit your work around your personal commitments. Whether you have supported people with learning disabilities before, or you are looking for a change of career, we would love to hear from you!
The Role:
We’re looking for Relief Support Workers to join our fun and friendly teams in Warrington, where we support people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, emotional and mental health needs. The level of support you will be providing will vary depending on the person you are supporting.
During a waking night shift, you can expect to support people with their bedtime routines, provide physical and emotional support if they are wakeful, monitor assistive technology alarms, complete administration tasks and support with personal care, cleaning and laundry.
The Pay:
As a relief worker, your base rate of pay will be either £9.50 or £10.24 per hour (rate is dependent on the needs of the person you will be supporting). You will also accrue an annual leave entitlement of 12.07% per hour you work which will be paid out to you in a lump sum on a monthly basis – this means your total rate of pay equates to either £10.65 or £11.48 per hour (depending on who you’re supporting).
