Who will I be supporting? 

  • We currently support three gentlemen and one lady with learning disabilities and autism, to live their lives as independently as possible
  • They have their own bungalows on the same site, so you may be matched to support one or more people
  • The people we support at Kenton enjoy a range of activities from football, bike riding and dog training, to computers games, YouTube and catching up with friends and family

What will I be doing? 

  • You will be supporting these individuals to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their goals
  • You will be supporting them with their personal care (varying degrees of independence), medication, meal preparation, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry    

What shifts are available? 

  • We’re looking for people who want to join their team on a relief/bank basis
  • Shifts on offer to relief workers are typically 8am – 10pm for a day shift and 10pm – 8am for a waking night shift
  • We’re looking for people with good availability to pick up vacant shifts on our rotas, which are provided 4 weeks in advance, and also to cover sickness and other types of leave that may occur at shorter notice  

What’s the pay?

  • Your base pay rate of pay will be £10.24 per hour
  • As a relief worker, you will also accrue and annual leave entitlement of 12.07% for every hour you work, which brings your total hourly rate to £11.48 per hour
