Resource Allocation Manager

Dorset/Hampshire Resource Allocation Manager

Are you a highly motivated care professional looking to take the next step with a leading not-for-profit provider in the UK? Do you want to join an organisation built on innovation, with a 20-year track record of progressing professional careers and making a positive difference to people’s lives?

Are you a driven and experienced manager with a background in Health and Social Care? We are looking for an ambitious individual with experience in managing teams and shift allocation/deployment of colleagues to join our growing in-house agency.  You will be manging the Peripatetic Team in Hampshire, Dorset and growing to cover our South Region.  This will be a home-based role, with travel as required.

About the role

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a leader who ensures their support workers are deployed in the most cost-effective way through meticulous scheduling of work, and in addition to ensure that the peripatetic support workers are trained to a high level to provide exemplar levels of support across a variety of different home settings.

Growing the team’s capacity to cover a higher volume of vacant shifts across a wider geographical area will be pivotal in reducing external agency spend. We are therefore looking for a leader who can move from a responsive 5 day a week operation, with the expectation to grow this team and its functionality to respond to urgent requests over a 7-day week with the support of your co-ordinator.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to quickly build stakeholder relationships
  • Manage a remote team
  • Analyse agency spend data and actively recruit to reduce vacant hours
  • Ensure training, quality and compliance across the service

This will be a home-based role, with travel as required.

You will need to hold a full driving licence to be considered for this role.

The rewards

We are committed to developing and rewarding our colleagues, we offer:

  • A salary of £30,257 (rising to £34,454.00 and then £39,0806.00 based on the number of peripatetic team members)
