Dorset/Hampshire Resource Allocation Manager

Are you a driven and experienced manager with a background in Health and Social Care? We are looking for an ambitious individual with experience in managing teams and shift allocation/deployment of colleagues to join our growing in-house agency. You will be manging the Peripatetic Team in Hampshire, Dorset and growing to cover our South Region. This will be a home-based role, with travel as required.
About the role
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a leader who ensures their support workers are deployed in the most cost-effective way through meticulous scheduling of work, and in addition to ensure that the peripatetic support workers are trained to a high level to provide exemplar levels of support across a variety of different home settings.
Growing the team’s capacity to cover a higher volume of vacant shifts across a wider geographical area will be pivotal in reducing external agency spend. We are therefore looking for a leader who can move from a responsive 5 day a week operation, with the expectation to grow this team and its functionality to respond to urgent requests over a 7-day week with the support of your co-ordinator.
