Our PBS support programme is achieving amazing outcomes with people with learning disabilities and autism, and we are growing our teams and services to support more people in the London area.
The Senior Practitioner is a vital role in our model for complex PBS support and these roles will be part of a service based leadership team that has PBS at its core. These roles are service based, with small caseloads, (3 to 6 people) and the senior practitioner will lead on managing PBS plans, training teams and working alongside support teams to develop outcomes and skills, embedding PBS into the delivery of our support.
The roles will have a matrix management model, with strong clinical leadership and supervision and peer support via our growing clinical team.
Ideal candidates will have a drive for developing PBS plans and the teams that will deliver them, with outcomes that are focused on enhancing quality of life and developing sustainable alternative behaviour strategies that reduce/remove restrictive measures for people with behaviours of distress/ that challenge.
They will deliver training including PBS qualifications for the teams of support staff, mentoring and developing teams to become PBS practitioners.
We have three exciting opportunities for Senior Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our services in North West London. You will work a combination of home and service based days, depending on activity, but it is expected that working time will include some evening and weekend presence by all of the leadership team.
Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are members of the Great Places To Work programme.
We are keen to consider experienced candidates who have enrolled on a MSc in Positive Behaviour Support or Applied Behaviour Analysis and are able to evidence that they are on track to graduate this year.
