We are recruiting for Support Workers within Bournemouth and Poole area. The role will involve supporting three very charming gentleman with learning disabilities in supported living. We provide 24 hour care and one has 2:1 support at all time with a waking night member of staff and a sleep in. Two of the gentleman are supported 2:1 when out in the community and have one waking night staff.
All three gentleman enjoy going out for scenic drives and long walks in the nice weather. One gentleman enjoy going bowling, relaxing meals out with staff, enjoys horse riding and spending time with his family at their home. The second gentleman enjoys archery, horses, long walks in quiet areas and is amazing at doing puzzles and likes spending time with his family. Our third gentleman loves going out for pub meal with support staff and also spends time with his family
All three gentleman have access to vehicles therefore having a UK/EU drivers licence would be beneficial and would consider those willing to learn to drive.
In Bournemouth, one bubbly and energetic gentleman who loves going to the disco, long walks and swimming. He is supported 24 hours in his own home with 2:1 support in the community and one waking night. He also loves spending time with family.
We're able to offer hours that range from 15 - 37.5 (full time) per week (Days or Night shifts). This can be discussed at interview the hours to suit you.
