About the role

 

We are currently recruiting for a new supported living setting due to open in the Bath area in July 2021. We are looking for hands -on Support Workers to support 5 independent young adults. As a Support Worker, you would be dynamic, innovative and promote independence among the people we support. Some of these young people may use the service as a transition period while some may stay for a number of years. The service is close to bus routes to the city centre and a lot of the support would be community based. 

 

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and talent and build on them. 

 

About you

Successful candidates will work well with the people we support with a person centered approach. No previous experience necessary.

  • people to use the toilet, feed and dress themselves etc.
  • Working in a supportive manner with colleagues, families and external parties, building trust by being open and honest.
  • Keeping some written records, using IT systems as r
  • equired to help you, including support plans, financial info and health and safety records.
