Do you have a determination and passion for supporting others to achieve their goals?

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our brand-new support team in the DL3 area of Darlington where we will soon be supporting a young man to live his life the way he chooses. You will be providing support with his daily routine that includes full personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and domestic tasks, as well as supporting and facilitating his participation in the activities he enjoys. He loves being out and about in the community and going for walks!

Transitioning to Dimensions is a big change for this young man. He has a learning disability and autism and we’re looking for kind and patient people to support him through this change in his life and beyond. We’re anticipating that he may display behaviours of distress so we’re looking for people with previous experience of challenging behaviour, or people who are committed and willing to learn, so that we can support him in the best way possible.

We’re looking for people who can work flexibly on a rota that includes a combination of long day shifts with sleepovers, a shorter day shift and waking nights during the week, at weekends and on occasional bank holidays. At Dimensions, we value a healthy work / life balance and as such, you will receive your rota 4 weeks in advance.

For more information on the role, please call Ashleigh on 07908 470 026.

The rewards

To see how you will be rewarded for your hard work and commitment, please see the attached job description which details the full list of employee benefits.

At Dimensions we’re proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are members of the Great Places to Work programme 2019, 2020 & 2021.
