The Dimensions team supports three ladies and one gentleman in the Fareham / Portchester area and one lady and two gentleman in the Fareham to live in their own shared homes. We support people to be an active part of the community in Fareham. We are looking for people who share our values and who can support people to have the life they want to live. You do not need experience as full training is given.
You will be part of a team that works flexibly on a rota supporting these individuals who have been diagnosed with having learning disabilities in their own shared homes. The people we support enjoy going out and about in the community, attending clubs, arts and crafts, jigsaws, and balloons, cooking and gardening and spending time with friends and family. They will need support with cooking, finances, cleaning and attending health appointments. They will also need support with personal care, medication administration and supporting them to have as much independence as possible. The people share a lease vehicle so drivers are essential. Support to access public transport is also required.
You will be working within an established fun team that requires flexibility on hours. The hours range from 07:00 -14:30, 14:30 – 22:00 and 08:00 – 16:30 there is a requirement to work a minimum of one sleep-in shift (22:00 – 07:00) per week along with the requirement to work every other weekend.
Although we are looking for people to work 30 hours there is opportunity across the locality to pick up additional shifts if you choose. We are also looking for relief support workers to join our established team.
In order to be considered for the role candidates must hold a full UK drivers licence.
