About the role

Dimensions is looking for caring Support Workers in Bournemouth to support a fun, outgoing lady in her 40s in her own bungalow. She has her own vehicle and enjoys being out and about doing activities which is an important part of this role. Activities can include going to drama club, getting her nails done, encouraging her to get involved in a fitness class and swimming (being confident in the water is a must as she will need to be supported at all times whilst in the pool). We are looking for Support workers who can build on existing relationships with her family and friends as these are important to her, she loves meeting her dad for lunch in town!

The lady uses a wheelchair and slide sheets at the moment, however the needs of the lady may change in the future. When walking she does like to be held to make her feel more steady on her feet, and she suffers with epilepsy. The lady does require full support with personal care. (Full training is provided)

Shift patterns will vary weekly and work around the people we support these can include 7am -2.30pm/9am - 2.30/2.30pm - 9pm and alternate weekends, Late shifts are lone working shifts (to be discussed at interview).

"Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010"

For more information about this role, please contact Leon on 03003039019.
