Support Work is a fantastic career choice that allows you to do just that! At Dimensions, you’ll receive full training and support every step of the way, making us a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a career change, are re-entering the workforce after a break or if you have some fantastic experience under your belt already and you’re looking for your next challenge – whatever your level of experience, we’d love to hear from you!
We're currently supporting a fabulous lady with physical disabilities in the NE15 area of Newcastle and we're looking for someone kind and patient to join her friendly support team.
Your role is to support this lady to achieve her goals, which includes supporting her to engage in the activities she enjoys. She loves shopping, bingo, going to church and attending social groups.
On a day-to-day basis you will be providing support by gently prompting around personal care, assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, grocery shopping and household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry.
Shifts starts at 9am one day and finish at 9am the following day, with a sleep-in shift included. We’re looking for people who can work a combination of these shifts and work flexibly on a rota that includes weekdays, weekends and a share of bank holidays. At Dimensions, we value a healthy work / life balance and as such, you will receive your rota 4 weeks in advance.

We believe anyone has the potential be a great support worker, no matter your background, as long as you share our values; respect, partnership, courage, ambition and integrity – that’s why we recruit based on values and not skills or experience.
