Support Worker - Female

Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated female to join our team on a part time basis (18 hours per week average) to work with a 48 year old lady with Downs Syndrome in Lincoln. The lady lives on her own in a bungalow and has specifically asked for someone who can have fun but also be serious when needed. You will be joining an established team of Female support workers.

You will work as part of a rolling rota and duties will include working a variety of morning, afternoons, evenings and sleep-in shifts, weekend and bank holidays are part of this too. There is no direct moving and assisting within this service but you will be expected to put wheelie bins out and carry shopping. The lady enjoys going to the cinema and theatre, swimming, days out and loves watching Murder Mysteries on TV. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with people with learning disabilities, being a driver would also be advantageous, however, is not essential for this role.

. Dimensions provide life changing support to people with learning disabilities and autism throughout England and Wales.  We often find great talent from retail, cleaning and hospitality backgrounds, but no matter what your experience, we want to hear from you.  This is your opportunity to start a career where you are genuinely changing people’s lives and to join an award winning team in the process.

Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are accredited by the Great Places To Work programme.
