About the role:

We have a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities and autism in St Albans who are recruiting for Waking night support staff. This role will require you to remain awake and work between 9.30pm - 7.30am covering alternative weekends and bank holidays. 

This service supports six individuals within their own flats to live an independent life. We are looking for people who can work independently to monitor and support the people we support as and when they need it during the night. Duties can include personal care, hourly checks on the people we support and the expectation to carry out domestic duties which are unable to be carried out during day hours. 

All support staff are expected to complete the care certificate, attend mandatory training including a full induction which can be during daytime hours. 

Driver essential however we can consider candidates who live locally and have their own mode of transport to our service
