Support Worker / Care Assistant
Waking Nights

10pm - 7am
Poole
We are looking for people who share our values and can support someone to have the life they want to live. You’ll have a really rewarding role working with a great team of people for a leading support provider. Our colleagues tell us that it’s the chance to make a positive difference to people’s lives that inspires them. Maybe that’s why Dimensions colleagues are more than twice as likely to choose to stay at Dimensions, compared to staff in other social care organisations
The role will involve support a gentleman in his home who has a cheeky and active personality. He enjoys getting out and going for long walks and enjoys a Mcdonalds. He has a learning disability and some behaviours which can challenge. He has 2:1 support when accessing the community and 1:1 at night. Full training will be provided. You will check at regular intervals throughout the night to ensure they are comfortable, provide personal care as required, provide physical support and emotional reassurance when people are wakeful and you will have to keep some written records, using IT systems as required to help you, including support plans, incident logs, MARS sheets and health and safety records.
For further information please contact Megan on 07771 344608.
Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are members of the Great Places To Work programme 2019, 2020 and 2021
