Support Worker - Lincoln
Hourly rate - £8.91 per hour
Hours - 16 per week
The ideal candidate will be a driver as the people we support have their own vehicle and you will be expected to drive this as part of your role.
About the role
We are looking for two people to join our team, you will be supporting three gentlemen and two women aged between 44 and 82 within a supported living service in Lincoln on a part time basis (16 hrs per week).
You will work as part of a four week rolling rota which will include a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, evening and sleep-in shifts, this will also include weekend working. The shifts that are available are :

Monday 8-3 Friday 8-3 Monday 8-4.30 Wednesday 8-3.30
Tuesday 2-9 Saturday 2-7.30 Thursday 3-10.30 sleep in Saturday 1.30-10.30 sleep in
Friday 7.30-10 am Sunday 7.30-10 am

Monday 2-7.30 Friday 3-10.30 sleep in Thursday 8-3 Monday 7.30-12

You will be joining an established team and we are looking for people who are good motivator’s and are enthusiastic, at times there will be aspects of lone working. The people we support have a variety of needs and require support with personal care, administering medication, cooking, cleaning, attending appointments and social activities. The people we support enjoy participating in crafts, going to the cinema, walking, going to the pub and going on short breaks. Although there is no direct moving and handling within this service you will be required to push wheelchairs and use an electric bath seat aid.
There is an expectation to complete training on-line using the ‘Learning Connect’ system. There is also an expectation that you will be confident in using a tablet/laptop as all of our compliance and daily records are on-line.
