Support Worker - Radstock

Salary: £9.45 per hour

Hours - Full time (37.5 per week)/Part time - Flexible

Hi, my name is Ben and I'm supported by Dimensions.  I live in the Radstock area and now need a Support Worker to join my team.

I live in my own home in Westfield, Radstock.  I have a learning disability and experience autism. I have a great team who support me in all areas of my life during the day and overnight.  My carers support me to do the things I enjoy such as swimming, trampolining, art and forest school. Currently we have a vacancy for a Full Time Support Worker.

My autism means that the way I process things can be different to the way others do but you will receive comprehensive training & opportunities to shadow shifts so that you are confident in your approach to my care & support.  My family are an important part of my life and are very supportive of myself and the team.

It’s ok if my Support Worker doesn't like all my activities, as long as you are enthusiastic to support me to do it. You never know, you might find you enjoy it!

If you share Dimensions values you’ll have the opportunity to meet me as it’s important we’re a good match for each other. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked as a Support Worker before, as Dimensions will give you paid accredited training throughout your career, plus bonus payments when you complete your qualifications - as well as a full induction, regular 1-2-1’s and annual appraisals to ensure you develop your professional skills, supporting me to live the life I choose.
