Join our team in Stevenage to support a gentleman in his mid 20's with Down Syndrome to live independently in his own house. This is a 1:1 support service with free parking for our Support Workers. 

This gentleman enjoys listening to music, having a conversation, seeing family, soaps and popular culture. We are looking for Support Workers who are outgoing with good interaction.  He is very independent and likes being the boss, our Support Workers would be required to assist this minimal personal care (support with creams in the bath only), medication and supporting with his finances.  

As this is a 1:1 service, it will require lone working. You will be given a full induction period including four weeks of shadowing shifts . You will also be given ongoing support and leadership from the management team including mental health. You would need to feel confident using various computer systems, reporting and updating records.

 Shift patterns will be 7am -3pm/2pm - 10pm/sleep-ins and alternate weekends (to be discussed at interview).
