We are recruiting for two services in the Hemel Hempstead area.
Why join us?
About our services:
One service in Hemel Hempstead is supporting a young gentleman in his 20's with his charity and volunteering activities. He enjoys participating in a running club, Special Olympics, marathon runs for charity, regular 5k runs and voluntary work in a café and horse stables. He is also very creative and often makes objects to sell at craft fairs including bird boxes and candles.
This is an excellent opportunity to encourage him to be independent and to continue with his charity work. You will be working in his own home and supporting with personal care (very independent with this but requires reminding), meal preparation (loves live cook along!) and continue the very important relationship he has with his family. He has his own dog so we would be looking for support staff who have a love for animals.
If one fabulous service wasn’t enough! We are also recruiting for another outreach service in Hemel Hempstead. This is to support another gentleman with a wide range of special interests and activities that support with his health and well-being such as gym/sauna/ swimming (at least one Support worker will need to be in the pool with him) and listening to music. We would be looking for Support workers who can encourage him to play pool, go out for lunch and dinner and trampoling.
To work within our outreach services, you would need to hold a full UK driving licence.
