About the role:

In St Albans, we support six females and males, in a shared living environment to live an inclusive independent life. The house is staffed 24 hours a day with a variety of shift patterns to meet the needs of the people living there, including sleep in.

We are looking for new team members to share a person's day; being inspired to offer and engage with fun and varied activities such as community based activities, board games, computer games, going to church, styling hair and going to the gym and any other educational and leisure based activities people are interested in trying,

Part of your role will be to support people with their day to day lives, including support with personal care, emotional care, preparing and eating meals, financial support, attending appointments and having fun! Support is provided in line with our core values of Ambition, Courage, Integrity, Partnership and Respect.

A knowledge of learning disabilities and autism an advantage, however a full training package will be offered to enable you to carry out your role.

Dimensions exists to help each person we support to live a fulfilling life, to be equal in society and to be active in his or her local community. That’s a big deal. It means being able to have choice and control in life. It means choosing to go out or to stay in, making friends and having relationships, finding and developing skills and interests. It also means managing a home, voting, staying healthy and being able to pursue employment or volunteering opportunities. If you think you can help the people we support get more from life, we want to hear from you.
