Are you looking for a career where you can make a real and meaningful difference to the lives of others?

Support Work is a fantastic career choice that allows you to do just that! At Dimensions, you’ll receive full training and support every step of the way, making us a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a career change, are re-entering the workforce after a break or if you have some fantastic experience under your belt already and you’re looking for your next challenge – whatever your level of experience, we’d love to hear from you!

We will soon be supporting a young man in his 20s in the WA2 area of Warrington. He has a learning disability, autism, can experience seizures and he can display behaviours of distress. We’re looking for passionate and enthusiastic people to join his support team on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours per week or part-time working between 15 – 30 hours per week.

As a Support Worker your role will be to support this young man to achieve his goals, which include supporting him to engage in the activities he enjoys. He loves music, going shopping, being out and about outside of the house and he enjoys helping with the cooking.

On a day-to-day basis you will be providing support by gently prompting around personal care, assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, grocery shopping and household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Shifts are likely to be 7am – 2:30pm, 2:30pm – 10pm and waking nights from 10pm – 7am. We’re looking for people who can work a combination of these shifts and work flexibly on a rota that includes weekdays, weekends and a share of bank holidays. At Dimensions, we value a healthy work / life balance and as such, you will receive your rota 4 weeks in advance.

There is free street parking and good public transport links to this young man’s house.
