Support Worker
Full time- 37.5 hours per week
Letchworth, town in Hertfordshire, England
£9.60 per hour
This role will involve working with one gentleman in his own home who has a learning disability. You will help him to shop for things he wishes to buy, going to public houses, long walks, cinema and meals out, some of these things are impacted due to current restrictions. You will prepare his meals as required, whilst helping, encouraging, supporting and teaching the people we support to do their housework, including cleaning and laundry.
This gentleman is very independent and manages his own personal care. No assistance is needed for manual handling but you will be required to assist with medication.
Shift Patterns:
These vary week on week to work around the people we support.
For example - 7am - 3pm / 2:30pm - 9/10pm / long days / split shifts / alternate weekends (To be discussed at interview)

Successful candidates will work well with the people we support with a person centered approach. No previous experience necessary.
