Full-time & part-time contracts available

Do you want to go to work every day knowing that you’re making a difference; knowing that you’re supporting others to live their lives the way they choose? It takes empathy, compassion, and commitment to be a Support Worker and if these are qualities you already have, then we can provide you with all the training you need to set you up for a fantastic career in social care!

No previous experience is required. We just ask that you share our values of “respect”, “partnership”, “courage”, “ambition” and “integrity”, that you’re committed to learning, and that you strongly believe that everyone deserves to live the life they choose – if this sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you!

The Role:

Your role will be to support two older ladies with autism, who are non-verbal, to live their lives how they choose. Both ladies require full support with their personal care, medication, feeding and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. Both ladies are also wheelchair users, and they have a hoist installed in their home. We will provide full medication and hoist training, so no previous experience is needed.

The ladies you’ll be supporting love going on days out (they both have their own vehicles so require staff to have a full UK driving licence), and they also enjoy relaxing at home and having pamper days!

The Shifts:

The ladies’ shifts start at 7am and finish at 9pm. The Hiring Manager is open to discussing the option of half days if needed.

The Rewards:

Dimensions are also proud to be one of very few social care organisations that have been recognised by the Great Places to Work programme in 2019, 2020 & 2021. As well as a comprehensive induction, full training and continued support from management, our colleagues have access to:

  • 30 days annual leave
  • Paid training
  • A comprehensive well-being strategy and staff listening network
  • Discounts and cash back on shopping worth £500 a year
  • Childcare vouchers
  • £200 bonus for recommending a friend to us if they go on to be successfully employed
  • Discounts on meals, health clubs, and car, home and travel insurance

If you have any further questions and would like to discuss the role in more detail, please call Layla on 07973 424 590.
