Support Workers needed Southampton (Portswood, Woolston & Shirley Warren areas). Full time and part time hours available. We are recruiting for three wonderful services in the Southampton area and are looking for Support Workers who can commit to doing sleep ins and alternate weekend shifts.
Portswood requires male and female support workers:
These roles involve working in a block of flats, supporting 7 people aged from 20s to 60s with varying levels of support. You will help and encourage them to learn the skills they need to live the life they choose. Support with personal care, finances, shopping, housework including cooking, cleaning and laundry. You may also assist with medication and get involved in the activities they enjoy doing.
Woolston requires male and female support workers:
These roles involve supporting 2 gentlemen who have differing levels of independence and personal care needs. Supporting them with their finances, housework and accessing the local community. Their interests and activities vary from visiting day service and church to Playstation and visits to the pub.
Shirley Warren requires female only support workers:
These roles involve supporting our 2 lovely ladies in Shirley Warren aged 30 and 52. One lady is very independent. She needs some support with cleaning, finances and budgeting, attending health appointments and shopping. The other lady goes to day service twice a week and enjoys colouring, arts and crafts, baking and clothes shopping.
These can vary week on week. For example: 7am – 3pm / 2:30pm – 10pm / Long days, mid-shifts, and who can commit to doing 1-2 sleep ins and alternate weekends. This will be discussed at pre-screen / interview.
