Support Worker
£9.50 per hour
Part-time, 30 hours per week
Darlington
We are currently supporting a male in his 40s in his own home in the DL1 area of Darlington. He has learning disabilities, autism and requires support with his mental health. He is looking for kind and patient people to join their support teams on a part-time basis, working 30 hours per week.
Your role will be to support him to achieve his goals, which includes engaging in the activities they enjoy. The gentleman loves fishing, cycling and rock climbing.
The gentleman is independent in terms of his personal care but you will be providing support with meal preparation, grocery shopping and household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry.
Shifts start at 9am one day and finish at 9am the following day with a sleepover shift included. We’re looking for people who can work a combination of shifts on a rota that includes weekdays, weekends and a share of bank holidays. At Dimensions, we value a healthy work / life balance and as such, you will receive your rota 4 weeks in advance.
